Ashta Bhairavi are the 8 wife of Ashta Bhairavas. Each bhairavi is associated with the Mahavidya's form of Adi Parashakti. Bharava is a ferocious aspect of Mahadeva. The divine consorts of Ashtabhairava are known as Ashta Bhairavis.
