Tulasi Puja
Those who can't to invite priests and perform marriage ceremony of Tulasi for some reason or the other, can just follow this simple Tulasi puja.
Tulasi pot may be decorated with mango leaves flowers etc. Beautiful rangolis should be drawn in front of Tulasi. Tulasi should be decorated with bridal ornaments such as green bangles etc. A row of lamps may be lit.
Dhyanam:
Chathurbahuyutham devim shankha pusthaka dharinim
Padmaksha mala pushpam cha dharinim punyadayinim
Dhyayechch Thulasi shyamam kamalalochanam prasannam padmakalhara varadaabhaya chathurbhujam
Kirita hara keyura kumkumadi vibhushitham dhavalankusha samyuktam padmasana nishedushim
Vrindayayai namah avahanam samarpayami(welcoming)
Vrindavaniyayi namah asanam samarpayami(offering seat)
Vishwapujithayai namah padyam samarpayami(water for washing feet)
Vishwapavaniyai namah arghyam samarpayami(water to the palms)
Pushpasarayai namah achamaniyam samarpayami(water to drink)
Anandiniyai namah snanam samarpayami(water for bathing)
Tulasiyai namah gandham samarpayami(sandalwood paste)
Krishnajivaniyai namah vasthram samrpayami(clothing)
Saubhagya shubhade devi sarvamangaladayini haridram the pradasyami gruhana surapujithe(turmeric)
Kumkumam kanthidam divyam sarvakarya phalapradam
Kumkumenarchithe devi gruhana varadaabhava(vermilion)
Jaji punnaga mandaram kethaki champakani cha nana sugandhikam pushpam arpayami Haripriye(scented flowers)
Light lamps and incense sticks, offer naivedyam(fruits, sweets etc) and perform arthi.
Arghya:
Thulasi shree sakhi devi papaharini punyade
Vishnuna sahitham devi gruhana arghyam namosthuthe
Yanama dushkrutham sarvam krutham janna shathairapi bhasmibhavathu thathsarvam avaidhavyam cha dehime
Prayer:
Yatha the na viyogosthi bharthra saha sureshwari 
Thatha mama mahabhage kuru thwam janma janmani
(Oh Thulasi burn off all my sins committed in previous lifes and bless me with blissful married life. As you never seperate from your husband, bless me also to live happily with my husband)
You may invite married women and donate betel leaves -nuts kumkum and other auspicious things and get their blessings.


It is very auspicious to worship Tulasi with scented flowers, lamps and Kumkum during Karthik masa. Skanda purana says TulasirShree na sanshayah(Tulasi is none other than Mahalakshmi).
Tulasi Vandana shloka
Yanmule sarva theerthani yanmadhye sarva devatha
yadagre sarva vedashcha Thulasi thwam namamyaham

Salutes to the holy true Thulasi whose root is the abode all the holy rivers, in whose stem all the Gods reside and in whose leaves the Vedas reside.

Devi Tulasi

नमस्तुलसि सर्वज्ञे पुरुषोत्तमवल्लभे।
पाहि मां सर्वपापेभ्यःसर्वसम्पत्प्रदायिके ॥

Namas-Tulasi Sarvajnye Purussottama-Vallabhe |
Paahi Maam Sarva-Paapebhyah Sarva-Sampat-Pradaayike ||

Meaning:
10.1: Salutations to Devi Tulasi, Who is All-Knowing and Who is the beloved of Purushottama (Sri Vishnu),
10.2: O Devi, Please protect me from all Sins, You Who grant all Prosperities (to the devotees).
