BMW
BMW!

Withdrawing ourselves from the bulgy feeling for a moment from the situation & beings and then reciprocating is called Response = BULGY MOMENT WITHDRAWAL = BMW.
-Does this mean that we don't take responsibility of executing the Right?
-Does this mean that we can't respond strongly? If we Respond strongly, then,
-Does this mean that we are not accepting & accommodating?
The answer is...NO!
---We need to get up---speak the truth---march---protest---executing the Right & do whatever is necessary to protect our life and the lives of others. Otherwise, there can be no discipline, systems or orderliness in the family or in the society. There will be absolutely chaos everywhere, each will be behaving in their own way- 'Let anyone do whatever they want, I just only accept them' - NO Please! That is not what is meant by accepting & accommodating---That is not what response means!
What is to be inscribed within our heart is...
To execute orderliness, let our mind not become disorder!
To execute the Right, let us not be Wrong!
To execute discipline, let us not become indiscipline!
...We need to tell them but definitely without yelling..We need to guide them but definitely without losing our balance..We need to instruct them but definitely without falling from the status of Self..We need to discipline them without losing our discipline.
The great exemplars of such is Gandhi, King Martin Luther, etc.. were all strategic and skilled in this way--They rallied people--used the courts--broke the law--blocked the way--negotiated--moved forward and back--found allies and used money, power, shame, speeches, and politics all to stand up for what was right. But..
~They did not act Wrong to make them Right
~They did not react out of hate and violence!
...All they did was..They have just responded the outside without the disturbance inside. They withdraw themselves into themselves from outraging situations & people and then did whatever was necessary to execute the Right!
This is a powerful example. When self-righteous, anger arises.. we too can let it go, retaining our own fierce clarity towards the respect of the Self; we too can seek justice, yet do so with a loving heart. The Buddha urges us to let go of our anger even after extreme difficulties. Here are famous verses of the Buddha:
'He abused me and beat me, he threw me down and robbed me.’ Repeat these thoughts and you live in hate.
‘He abused me and beat me, he threw me down and robbed me.’ Abandon these thoughts and live in love.
'In this world, hatred never ceases by hatred, but by love alone is healed. This is the ancient and eternal law.'
